Mike Tyson is a legend and the stories he tells are equally as epic, including the time he met an unknown rapper named Tupac.
 

While making an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid’s Sirius XM radio show, he was asked about the trailblazing rapper, saying “He’s just a good man” and that ”His energy is off the wall.” Tyson remembers being in an upscale club in Brooklyn that ‘Pac and his huge entourage couldn’t get into without Mike’s help. After Tupac gained entrance, Mike hung outside for awhile, and once he re-entered the club, he was stunned to see that Tupac was on stage performing.

At that point, Mike didn’t know who he was, but still enjoyed the vibe he gave off. Tyson wouldn’t see ‘Pac again until his jail stint, when his mother Afeni wrote to Tyson, eventually leading the accomplished rapper to visit him in prison. Their friendship would be short-lived, as Tupac was killed after attending the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing match in 1996.
